LATTICE POINTS IN LARGE CONVEX PLANAR DOMAINS OF FINITE TYPE

Let B be a compact convex planax domain with smooth boundary of finite type and Be its rotation by an angle 6. We prove that for almost every 0 6 [0,27r] the remainder P_B_θ(t) is of order O_θ(t~(2/3-ζ)) with a positive number ζ independent of the domain.
