Openflow を利用した負荷分散システムとその応用

著者らはOpenflow 技術を利用したネットワークアプライアンスの仮想化の研究開発を行っている.データセンタ運用において，テナント間をタグVLANを用いてネットワーク分離をすることによって，セキュリティを高める運用を行う事業者は多いと考えられる.そこで，著者らはテナントのVLAN毎に分離されたネットワーク上で負荷分散することをより安価に実現する方式を検討し，その過程において，VLAN情報を負荷分散プログラムで扱えるOpenflow 技術に着目した.そして，Openflow ソフトウェアスイッチとコントローラを利用して負荷分散装置を実装し，実現可能性を検証した.また，Openflow ソフトウェアスイッチを負荷分散装置として動作させた際の性能測定を行い，性能上の課題を明らかにした.%The authors have carried out research and development of virtualization of network appliances that use technology Openflow. And to implement a load balancing device using the switch and controller Openflow software, and verified the feasibility.
