摘要

A novel centroid-based pulse-width-modulation (PWM) switchingnstrategy is proposed which is suitable for full-bridge inverternapplications. This method is evaluated, and its performance is comparednwith existing PWM switching strategies. The performance evaluation andncomparison are based on the total harmonic distortion (THD) and numbernof pulses per cycle of the inverter output waveform. The objective ofnthe new switching strategy is to minimize both the THD and low-ordernharmonics. Simulation results show that this technique yields ansignificant improvement in performance. In addition, a hybrid switchingnsequence is developed for the proposed scheme, which can lead to furthernreduction in switching losses
