EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE AND THE HOSPITAL LIBRARY: A REPORT FROM NORWAY.

The article presents a case study related to librarianship of Innlandet Hospital Trust (IHT), Norway. It mentions that the Norwegian government selected IHT as a pilot site for implementing the new national Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) plan in 2008. The plan demanded professional competence among the health personnel and the development of the best practice guidelines. The outcome innovative and successful with skilled leadership and the ambitious group of library professionals.
