One-to-four-family mortgage delinquencies rose to a seasonally adjusted rate of 9.24 percent in the second rnquarter of 2009, up 12 basis points from the first quarter and 283 basis points from the second quarter of 2008, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) National Delinquency Survey.rnThe non-seasonally adjusted delinquency rate was 8.86 percent in the second quarter, up from 8.22 percent in the first quarter.rnThe second-quarter delinquency rate was the highest since the MBA survey began in 1972.
