Changes to 'improve' Green Deal

Proposals to streamline and improve the Green Deal to boost take-up of energy efficiency measures has been announced by the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC). Starting from January 2014, government will make a number of changes to make accessing the Green Deal easier for consumers. These include: 1.Introducing a new online tool that will give straightforward advice on the steps customers can take to improve the energy efficiency of their homes 2.Making the Green Deal Advice Report clearer and easier to understand 3.Better signposting of the government support available, both through the Energy Saving Advice Service and the gov.uk website.
