Selected Papers From The Fifth International Conference On Imanochannels, Microchannels, And Minichannels

摘要

I am very pleased to present this special issue highlighting some of the papers presented at the Fifth International Conference on Nanochannels, Microchannels and Minichannels, held in Puebla, Mexico, from June 18-20, 2007. The conference was hosted at the beautiful campus of Universidad De Las Americas Puebla in Mexico with Prof. Rene Reyes Mazzoco as the conference co-chair and local host.rnAs in the past, the conference provided a fertile ground for new ideas among researchers working in diverse fields. This interdisciplinary nature of the conference was once again highlighted through the participation of researchers working in fields such as traditional heat and mass transfer, lab-on-chips, sensors, biomedical applications, micromixers, fuel cells, and microde-vices, just to name a few. Selected papers in the field of heat transfer and fluid flow are included in this special volume.
