摘要

This study evaluated the current social media program at Health Literacy Missouri, focusing on the four platforms upon which it has the strongest presence. Retrospective data were collected by counting the number of fans, followers, likes, wall posts/reposts, and tweets/retweets on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and a blog. These metrics were then compared with benchmarks for social media use in other not-for-profit organizations and placed in the context of other statewide health literacy organizations. Health Literacy Missouri meets most, but not all, benchmarks and leads other statewide health literacy organizations in its adoption of social media.
