Floating in space

摘要

Industry statistics indicate that orders for floating production and storage offloading (FPSO) units more than doubled during the final five years of the last century. This illustrates the environmental and economic viability of these units compared with conventional oil rigs. With the growth in the use of FPSO units globally, Warsash Maritime Centre (WMC) is well placed to respond to the training demands of this sector of the offshore industry.
