Conference report DGAC's International Conference returned to Antwerp this year, just in time for the regulators to be able to tell industry what new provisions had been agreed. Transatlantic harmonisation, however, feels as far away as ever. The Dangerous Goods Advisory Council (DGAC) held its annual conference in St Louis, Missouri in November, just a month too early to hear about the final decisions for updating the UN model regulations on the transport of dangerous goods (HCB February 2005, page 9). However, by the time DGAC's sixth International Conference rolled around, those decisions had been firmed up, giving the regulators who agreed to put themselves up before a critical audience plenty to talk about.
