The UK's Chemical Business Association (CBA) has made a commitment to provide compliance training on demand to its member companies, a move that it believes is the first of its kind by any UK trade association to date. "Regulatory compliance is a key issue for companies in the chemical supply chain," says CBA chairman Dr Neville Prior. "Over recent years, the rate of regulatory change has been so rapid that many smaller and medium-sized firms with limited technical and financial resources have struggled to keep pace. As the result, the level of demand for CBA's cost-effective compliance training has never been higher and it has become apparent that member companies place increasing reliance on this service."
