The 37th session of the UN Sub-committee of Experts on the transport of dangerous goods (TDG) took place in Geneva this past June 21 to 30. In the continuing absence of the elected chairman, Bob Richard (US), vice-chairman Claude Pfauvadel (France) acted in that position. It was agreed that, in accordance with the UN Economic and Social Council (Ecosoc) rules of procedure, this arrangement will continued pending a fresh election for the coming biennium and Duane Pfund (US) was elected as vice-chairman until then.
