The 90th session of the UN Economic Commission for Europe's (ECE) Working Party on the transport of dangerous goods (WP15) took place in Geneva this past May 3 to 5. This body is responsible for drawing up and maintaining the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by road that are used throughout Europe and in a number of countries in North Africa and Middle East. The technical regulations, which appear as annexes to the ADR Agreement, are also used as the basis for domestic regulations in a number of other countries. There are 47 Contracting Parties to the ADR Agreement, of which 45 are members of the UN ECE.
