Stealthgas, one of the biggest players in the LPG shipping market, went into the red in its second quarter results. The Nasdaq-listed company slipped to a loss of $3.6m in the three months to the end of June, reversing a gain of $4.1m in the same period a year earlier. But CEO Harry Vafias took a long view of the numbers. The company's strategy, summed up in brief, is along the lines of 'out with the old and in with the new'. Or, as Vafias put it to investors, maintaining "a strong focus on our operational side".
