IMCD's shopping spree

Netherlands-headquartered IMCD Group has bolstered its position in the Asia-Pacific region through the acquisition of Infineum Australia, the antipodean arm of UK-based petroleum additives manufacturer and marketer Infineum. As well as further strengthening the existing IMCD-Infineum relationship in Iberia and North Africa, the deal will also see IMCD becoming Infineum's appointed distributor in Australia and New Zealand. "We are delighted with this extension of our relationship with Infineum," says Marcus Jordan, IMCD group development director.
