The 19th session of the joint meeting of experts on the Regulations annexed to the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterway (ADN Safety Committee) took place in Geneva this past August 23 to 25. The meeting was chaired by Helmut Rein (Germany) with Bernd Birklhuber (Austria); representatives from 12 countries attended, along with others from five nongovernmental associations, the EU, the Danube Commission (DC) and the Central Commission for Navigation on the Rhine (CCNR).
