Shadow spokesman for Enterprise, Deregulation and Competition, Mark Prisk MR gave a fascinating insight into the thoughts of the Tory party on business as it aims for election in 2010. Speaking to the BHF-BSSA Group Legal & Parliamentary Affairs committee, he discussed the prospects for the economy, the private and public sectors and unemployment, before taking questions on matters close to the heart of many independent retailers, including underage sales, business rates and public service campaigns that promote individual retailers.
