In 1992, Harun Farocki and Andrei Ujica presented Videograms of a Revolution, a film on the five-day political overthrow of the Ceau§escu regime in Romania in December 1989. The film consists exclusively of collected material, found footage from private video cameras and from the state TV station in Bucharest that became a focal point of communication and, it would seem, of control during the critical phase of the revolution.
