2nd eaglet emerges at D.C. arboretum

A second eaglet from a nesting pair of bald eagles called "Mr. President" and "The First Lady" broke through its shell yesterday at Washington's National Arboretum. Footage from an "eagle cam", which has provided live coverage of the first bald eagles to nest at the arboretum since 1947, shows the parents cuddling up to two young eaglets in their nest. The first eaglet emerged from its shell Friday (E&ENews PM, March 18).
