Cicadas to emerge in 5 states after 17 years

After a 17-year hibernation, cicadas are expected to emerge in parts of five states in the next month. Western Maryland, eastern Ohio, southwestern Pennsylvania, northwestern Virginia and most of West Virginia will have an influx of the co-called Brood V.
