BLM halts wild horse roundup as advocates dispute numbers

The Bureau of Land Management is stopping a wild horse roundup in Wyoming after a spat with wild horse advocates over whether the agency should include foals in its quotas. In a court filing Tuesday, BLM and opponents at the American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign agreed that the roundup would end at 1,560 horses of all ages. The agency was poised to reach that quota yesterday.
