World Water Week challenges

As experts meet for the 2006 World Water Week in Stockholm, the World Water Council has interviewed the chair of the Global Water Partnership, Margaret Catley-Carlson, who highlighted the fact that the next 10-20 years would see the need to increase individual water supplies as people start to demand more protein in their diets, more water for washing and better housing with in-house water facilities.
