Brushless types a trend, but brushed units still lead supply

China's DC motor suppliers are banking on the robust car industry to fuel the line's traditional brushed and emerging brushless segments. They hope to benefit from climbing requirement not only in conventional but electric vehicles as well. Brushed units will continue to dominate local output even as the trend is moving toward brushless variants. Suppliers emphasize the former because of mature technology and cost advantage while raising yield for brushless types.
