Textiles for plastic and concrete reinforcement

The reasons for this growth are the strong rise in demand for wind power plants worldwide; the increase in components made from fiber-plastic composites in aircraft, vehicle and machine construction, as well as for renovation and maintenance measures; and new structural shapes in the building industry in the form of textile concrete. These developments are further supported by intense efforts to find economical solutions that automate the manufacturing process for lightweight engineering parts.
