Total Fluidity at all Scales is a continuation of the morphological design language Zaha Hadid has explored and developed over the past three decades. The formal dynamic of the installation has been conceived as an inverted landscape using complex curvilinear geometry, seamless-ness, and smooth transitions—integrating the diverse forms of Hadid's unique brand of urban-ism to connect disparate cityscapes. Whereas the total fluidity evident in her work demonstrates such morphological research, this installation deconstructs these organic forms into a series of suspended vertical elements that capture moments of time throughout the continuous transformation of the piece. As in time-lapse photography, the ephemeral qualities and diffused form have been frozen at irregular intervals in frames that illustrate Hadid's repertoire.
