Sharable WDM/TDM Unidirectional Optical Ring Network

摘要

A sharable WDM/TDM unidirectional ring network is proposed. The network architecture and protocol are illus- trated, The equilibrium point analysis (EPA) is used to obtain the network performance that is characterized by three measures: Throughput, delay, and blocking probability. The results show that the network throughput can reach unity although the number of wavelengths is small.
