Developing an Overview of Delivery of Official Controls for Food and Feed Safety and Standards by Local Authorities and Port Health Authorities across the UK

As the Central Competent Authority for the delivery of official controls on food and feed, the Food Standards nAgency (FSA) is undertaking a review of how these controls are delivered in the United Kingdom. This body of nwork is referred to as the ‘Official Controls Delivery (OCD) Review’ programme. The review is being conducted to nexamine the effectiveness of the current configuration as well as the need and scope for improvements to the ncurrent delivery model. It will be evidence–based and objective and there are no pre-determined outcomes.
