Tom Hayes named CEO at Ocean Spray Cranberries

Thomas P. Hayes has been named president and chief executive officer at Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. A 33-year veteran of the consumer products industry, Mr. Hayes previously led Tyson Foods, Inc. for nearly two years and remains an operating adviser at Entrepreneurial Equity Partners (e2p), a private equity firm that invests in middle-market companies in the food industry. He joined Tyson Foods when it acquired Hillshire Brands in 2014. He was named chief commercial officer the following year, then president the next year. He added CEO to his title in December 2016, then stepped down in September 2018, citing personal reasons.
