Plant-based folded egg alternatives set to land in the freezer aisle

Eat Just, Inc., the maker of Just Egg, is expanding into the freezer case with a new folded plant-based egg alternative. Formulated for breakfast sandwiches and toast, the product is made from mung bean protein and contains no cholesterol and 7 grams of protein. The folded Just Egg will be sold in a 4-count box in the freezer aisle beginning in April.
