Concluding our examination of the Irish Air Corps with a look at surviving historic airframes and the Heritage Centre at its HQ, Casement. Flying an eclectic mix of types, many exhibiting an admirable longevity of service, the Irish Air Corps has been responsible for passing on a high proportion of its heritage to museums and to 'warbird' operators. The first part of this feature (in the October issue) dealt briefly with the history of the IAC and looked at the diverse types flown since 1922.
