'Wings and Things'

This year's annual 'Wings and Things' airshow held on August 6 at Woodchurch, Kent, attracted a crowd of around 8,000 to watch a impressive variety of aircraft - the 'wings' - plus more than 400 classic cars, military vehicles, motorcycles and tractors 1. the 'things'! The event is hosted by well-known warbird pilot Rob Davies MBE on his idyllic Kent farm, and all money raised goes to charity 2. an effort greatly aided by the generosity of pilots, operators and the many volunteers who give freely of their time. 'Wings and Things' is a real summer treat with a wonderful 'garden fete' atmosphere, and as such is enjoyed by much of the local population.
