Skywagon rebuild a sign of things to come

Brazilian industrialist and aviation enthusiast, Fernando de Arruda Botelho, has restored Cessna 185 Skywagon PR-IAB to airworthy trim. The first Skywagon made its debut in July 1960 and the type was extensively used in Brazil, taking diamond prospectors out into the bush areas - it could carry large payloads or up to six people and get into incredibly short landing strips. This machine was built in the early 1970s and was one of the last of its breed to be made. Litde is known of its history prior to it being purchased in poor condition by its current owner at a state auction.
