It took a grand total of 7 hours and 5 minutes,but for its time it was an epic flight and a major milestone for Czechoslovakia's nascent aircraft industry.Czech pilot Dr Zdenek Lhota left Prague on July 28,1923 in an Avia BH-5 sport aircraft to participate in a contest organised by the Royal Aero Club of Belgium at Evere Airport,Brussels.
