There is nothing like it. After a late night "wouldn't it be good if..." session at St Mere-Eglise, France, farmer Steve Pepper turned into a display organiser and, with help from his friends, produced the first-ever Victory Show on his land at Cosby, south of Leicester, in 2005. It is devoted to World War Two with emphasis on authenticity and getting the audience close to the action.
