The annual Wings Over Houston airshow was held on the weekend of October 15 and 16, and this year - among the many modern performers including an FA-18E Super Hornet - there was a superb mixture of classic and historic attractions. Texas Flying Legends supplied a great number of them. Among flying display highlights of the show were a Curtiss P-40K, Goodyear FG-1D Corsair, two NA P-51D Mustangs, B-25J Mitchell and a 'Zero' representing the enemy. Other aircraft to fly came from Galveston's Lone Star Flight Museum, including Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress 44-85718 Thunderbird, more Mitchells, Mustangs and Corsairs, and the colourfully painted Republic P-47D Thunderbolt 44-90368 Tarheel Hal.
