Personnel from No.Ⅱ (AC) Squadron, the oldest fixed-wing unit in the world, will celebrate its centenary this year. The weekend of May 11 to 13 will see a number of events hosted at RAF Marham in Norfolk, while in September a memorial to the squadron's fallen will be unveiled at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire. This will coincide with the publication of a book dedicated to the unit titled Hereward - Second to None. The squadron association is endeavouring to raise funds for both the book and memorial.
