Kitten will purr in April

Having been completed to ground-running condition, Yorkshire Air Museum's Port Victoria PV.8 Eastchurch Kitten reproduction - representing one of just three of the Great War-era machines to be built - will be fired up in front of visitors on April 6, having been successfully tested on March 2. The project, which began in the 1980s, received a major boost during the summer of 2012, when two French aviation design students undertook a placement at the museum's Elvington base.
