The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum's Avro Lancaster B.X FM213 will visit the UK in August, where it will fly in partnership with the RAF BBMF's Lancaster B.I PA474. The two bombers are the only remaining airworthy examples of the type in the world, and have never flown together before. The mouthwatering prospect of seeing two flying Lancasters in British skies for the first time in several decades was confirmed in a statement issued by the RAF on February 24.
