Formerly a part of The Fighter Collection at Duxford, Republic P-47G Thunderbolt 42-25068 Snafu has taken up temporary residence at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, California. Owned by Comanche Warbirds of Houston, Texas, the Thunderbolt was ferried from Texas to California on March 3 by Planes of Fame pilot Kevin Eldridge. It is expected to remain at Chino for about two months to prepare for the Planes of Fame Air Show over the weekend of May 2 to 4.
