Rare Beechcraft stars at reunion

Vietnam War 'Pave Eagle' veterans and their families gathered at Midland, Texas, for a reunion in conjunction with the Commemorative Air Force's AIRSHO 2013 over the weekend of October 12 and 13. A highlight of the event was a special 'reunion pass' during the show featuring Landon Studer's Beechcraft 0U-22B 'Pave Eagle1 flying with Karen Brinkley's Cessna 0-2A Skymaster and James West's Cessna T-41A Mescalero. A modified variant of the Beechcraft Model 36/ A36 Bonanza, the OU-22 was an electronic monitoring signal relay aircraft developed for the USAF.
