De Havilland DH.89A Dragon Rapide G-AHAG made its first flight in 40 years on August 19 in the hands of Classic Air Force chief pilot Jon Corley. The 1945-built aircraft was Dominie RL944 and subsequently passed through the hands of numerous civilian owners. Following an accident in 1972, it was placed in storage and eventually restored by Steve Jones and a dedicated group of volunteers at Membury, Wilts.
