FlyPast contributor Doug Rose has written in to share this wonderful photograph of former Bomber Command tailgunner John Hall dfc alongside the Canadian Lancaster on August 28. Doug said: "It was a real honour for me to meet this brave gentleman when the Lane visited at the former RAF Middleton St George airfield recently. The sprightly Mr Hall, now 92, is a veteran who completed two full combat tours in World War Two and was one of the event's special guests. It was a privilege to meet such a courageous gentleman."
