Super Constellation for Qantas museum

The Qantas Founders Museum in Queensland, Australia, has won an auction organised by the Manila International Airport Authority to purchase Lockheed C-121J Super Constellation N4247K Winky's Fish. The aircraft has been grounded in the Philippines since 1988, having previously been used by World Fish and Agriculture Inc to carry cargo. Due to its condition, the Super Constellation will not be restored to fly but will be transported by ship to Australia and by road to Longreach, where it will be placed on static display at the museum.
