Max Chapman, owner of North American P-51B Mustang 43-24837 (N515ZB) Berlin Express, won the Grand Champion Warbird prize at April's Sun 'n Fun International Fly-In & Expo in Lakeland, Florida. Restored by John Muszala's Pacific Fighters team at Idaho Falls, Idaho, the Mustang is finished to represent the fighter flown by William 'Bill' Overstreet of the USAAF's 357th Fighter Group, 363rd Fighter Sguadron. Bill famously flew Berlin Express underneath the arches of the Eiffel Tower in pursuit of a Messerschmitt Bf 109G a few weeks before D-Day.
