Now in its 59th year of operation, the world-renowned Planes of Fame Air Museum clearly knows what it takes to put on a great airshow. It became a three-day production this year, with afternoon flying routines and a twilight show on Friday April 29, as well as its regular daytime events on the Saturday and Sunday. Friday's activities began with a Pearl Harbor commemoration involving no fewer than five Curtiss P-40 Warhawks, two Mitsubishi A6M 'Zero' fighters and an Aichi D3A 'Val' reproduction.
