HESS' MESSERSCHMITT REMAINS PUT ON SHOW

Following several years out of public view, the remains of Messerschmitt Bf 110 Wk Nr 3869 VJ+OQ have recently been put on display within IWM Duxford's Air and Space Hangar. The machine is that which Hitler's deputy Rudolf Hess flew solo to Scotland from Bavaria on the night of May 10,1941, apparently in a secret and surprise attempt to neaotiate Deace.
