By now, many of you have taken advantage of those great, Fiddler's Green paper models. They are accurate, detailed and already printed with correct paint colors, detail lines, nose art and more. Chip Fyn and his elves have come up with what may be the ultimate paper model. It's a B-29 bomber and it's a beauty. Just log on to http://www.fiddlersgreen. net/aircraft/bombers/B-29/B-29.htm. Another neat use for the Fiddlers Green stuff is to use the printed paper as a master for your own tissue covering. Just have color copies made in the size you need, then attach pre-shrunk tissue to a sheet of bond paper and run it through the color copier. Don't use dope, because the ink jet colors will run. Attach with thinned white glue and overcoat with a dry spray of Krylon. Next, John Ernst sends us a picture of his dime scale Bristol Ml Gypsy racer. It's from plans by Derek Buckmaster, spans 16 inches and weighs 11.5 grams. John is one of our better builders and the weights of his models indicate the care he takes with them.
