R/C Pattern

Welcome back, friends. It sure is good to be able to get together each month; call me corny, but as simple as this interaction may be, it beats the living daylights out of not having the opportunity to get together and talk about model airplanes. If you are a regular reader of this column, the odds are that you compete in Precision Aerobatics or Pattern. If so, then you know that the opportunity to gather with like-minded flyers is fully half of the Pattern experience. The other half, of course, is the joy and discipline of learning to fly as well as you can. Yes, I put joy and discipline right next to each other in that last sentence, and that's not a mistake. It is your writer's firm conviction that the one flows from the other.
