2009 1/2A Multi-Engine Profile Scale

What separates a good contest from a great contest? Both good contests and great contests will have a consistent level of interest, and a premise that draws competitors. Both have a demonstrated level of skill and performance. However, a great contest will have a much higher level of enjoyment. Hosted by the Cholla Choppers of Tucson, Arizona, the 1/2A Multi-Engine Profile Scale (MEPS) is more than a great contest, it is a living contest. Mike Keville, the Event Director and designer of the contest, modified the rules as required at the end of each year to keep the two categories, Limited and Unlimited, viable each new year.
