AirfoilZ has been around for some time now, and has built up a rather large offering of profile and "full fuse" foam models with aero-batic and intense 3D flying in mind. As the company's name implies, none of their models use flat plate wings, but rather have pre-shaped airfoiled wings. Available models include "full-fuse" and profile Extras, Yaks, Edges, and the Katana NX (the latest air-frame) you see here. These models are not ARFs, but are kits which do require minimal building skills and supplies. You may also remember Dan Landis' review of the AirfoilZ Bipe, featured in the August 2008 issue of FM. The NX line of aircraft promises an extreme, unmatched flight envelope. We'll put that to the test!
